初めまして。
イラストを描かせていただいているものです。
今回はイラストを描くうえで私が心がけていることと、こういうところに苦労したということを少し知ってもらいたいと思います。
まずはファンタジーを描くとき以外は想像だけで描くのは厳禁にしています。
私はスキーやスケードボードなどの知識がないので、ポーズ人形にスキー板に見立てた鉛筆をくっ付けてポーズの練習をしてみたり、動画をスローにして何回も見たりして参考にしています。
職場の上司の方に経験があったので、一緒に話し合い試行錯誤しながら描き進めてきました。
私は右側を向いた顔を描くのが苦手なのですが、このようにどちらかの向きが描きにくいということは皆さんあると思います。プロの方でも特に右向きが苦手な方が多いように思います。そういう場合、紙を裏返してそこ描きやすい左向きの顔を描き、表に返してトレースをする……私の知っているプロの方はそんな方法をとっていました。
あとは横顔がうまく描けないとか全身の等身が変になってしまうなど私にはいろいろな苦手なものがあります。
しかし、まだまだ拙いイラストしか描けない自分を情けなく思いながらもがんばってます。
一度でうまく描けたことはまったくありません。何回も描いて何回も消しゴムで消しては描き直す……そんなことの繰り返しです。
今はアナログを中心に描いていますが、デジタルも描きます。
どちらで描くにしてもいかに躍動感を出すのか、リアルを描くのかがこれからの私の課題です。

This time, I would like to let you know what I keep in mind when I draw illustrations and a little about the difficulties I have encountered in this area.
First of all, I strictly forbid drawing only from imagination except when I draw fantasy.
I have no knowledge of skiing or skateboarding, so I try to practice posing by attaching a pencil that looks like a ski board to a posed doll, or I slow down a video and watch it many times for reference.
My supervisor at work had experience in this area, so we discussed it together and went through the drawing process by trial and error.
I am not good at drawing faces facing to the right, but I think everyone has difficulty drawing either direction in this way. I think there are many professionals who have difficulty drawing faces facing right. In such cases, they turn the paper inside out and draw the face on the left side, which is easier to draw, and then turn it back to the front and trace it. …… I know a professional who used such a method.
The other thing that I am not good at is drawing the profile well, and the body proportions are strange.
However, I am still trying my best even though I feel sorry for myself that I can only draw poor illustrations.
I have never succeeded in drawing a good illustration the first time. I draw many times, erase them with an eraser, and redraw them again and again. ……
I draw mainly analog, but I also draw digitally. My challenge for the future is how to create a sense of dynamism and realism in my drawings, regardless of which method I use.
