最初聞いたときはどんなものかピンと来ませんでしたが、靴の下に縦に四つの駒が並んでいるものを言うのだと分かりました。
そういえば以前家の近所でもインラインスケートを履いている子供たちがいたことを思い出しました。
今回もいろんなことに詳しい上司の方に動画を見せてもらい、その技の凄さに驚きました。
私なんかインラインスケートを履いたら、きっと立っていることさえできないと思うのに、動画の中の選手は滑るのは勿論、飛んだり跳ねたり。
インラインスケートを描くうえで強調したかったのはやはり躍動感でしょうか。
スキーやスノボを何枚か描かせてもらい、そのことが今回インラインスケートを描くうえでもプラスになりました。
決めポーズの、逆さまになって靴を触るという技は、スノボでも同じような技がありましたので、それを参考にしました。インスタにも投稿しています。
苦労したのは体の曲がり具合の加減を誤ると、手が靴に届いてくれないということです。ギリギリまで体を曲げる様子を表現するのは難しかったです。

I had the opportunity to paint several skis and snowboards, and this experience was a plus when I painted inline skating this time.
I used the technique of turning upside down and touching the shoes as a reference for the signature pose, as there is a similar technique used in snowboarding. I also posted it on my Instagram.
What I struggled with was that if I made a mistake in bending my body, my hands would not reach the shoes. It was difficult to express how to bend my body to the very edge.
